Castletown Lecture 4: Patrick Walsh, 'Castletown & the making of the Irish Protestant Ascendancy'

The fourth lecture in the Castletown Winter Lecture Series 2011-2012 takes place at Castletown on Wednesday 1 February 2012 at 8.00pm.

The lecture entitled ‘From Dongan to Conolly: Castletown and the making of the Irish Protestant Ascendancy’ will be delivered by Dr Patrick Walsh (University College London).

The lecture will be held in the newly restored East Wing/Stable Wing at Castletown. No booking is required but seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is €5.00 payable at the door, by cash or cheque only. Patrons are requested to be seated by 7.50pm. Join us for tea/coffee after the lecture.
